[HARP/d20] New Lamps for Old!

Yair, we are not the RIAA. We are not out to sue little kids or take the life savings of college students. We just want to protect our copyrights, and we want to be able to do it in as unintrusive manner as possible.

Please note that while we do want to protect our copyrights and are planning to watermark products in the future, that even though we do not have this ready yet, we are still selling PDFs.
I didn't suspect you were malicious, sorry if I gave that impression. I was just wondering as to whether you were going to follow suit on alleged copyright violations, that is all.
I certainly had no intention to hijack this thread into yet ANOTHER argument on copyright protection.

I wish you good luck with watermarking. I personally do not believe it will have any non-negligable affect on piracy, or sales, but if it works for you - great.

And of course, much more importantly - I wish you lots of sales :D
I'll be chiping my own 10$ for the pdf, once I get my next salary...

No problem. The idea behind the watermarking is to stop casual piracy, as we know that there are no garuanteed methods to stop demermined pirates, at least none that will still give consumers the rights that the deserve to have when they purchase a product.

Well, come sometime tomorrow, the pdf will increase in price, up to $12.50 (which will be its normal price), so hopefully you get paid today. :D

Sigh, I have already spent over my budget for RPGs this month; I guess that will cost me 2.50$ the next month...

Yair - We have extended the offer (only $10 for the HARP pdf rather than $12.50) until July 6th.

We also have the College of Magics pdf, and the Martial Law pdf (both HARP products) for sale as well.

So... you still have a change to get them!!

Just as a side note, we are working on PDFing several Rolemaster books as well.

I was just about to ask, "What if I want RMSS stuff instead of HARP?" but it looks like you've got that covered. Cool. :)

Yup! We are putting all of our current RPG lines up for sale as PDFs.

We also have some additional PDF (and compiled PDFs into print) products also to be added in the future.

A number of Rolemaster products are already on sale on the ICE main website - http://www.ironcrown.com - along with Spacemaster products in the works as well.

Also, for those who might be interested, ICE is sponsoring a gaming cruise....

More details can be found at http://gsmith.cruiseone.com/travel/display_editorial.do?edOid=1073886100
