Magical Counterspelling should be reworked (slightly). Each additional counterspell attempt in the same round should have a cumulative -5 penalty to the skill check as well as the attack roll.
Likewise, I'd probably rejigger the Counterspelling check. "When a wizard is targeted by a ranged attack spell, as an immediate reaction the targeted wizard may use an iterative attack to attempt to counter the spell with a spell of their own. In so doing, the targeted wizard makes a ranged touch attack against the original attacker. On a failure, the attacking wizard's spell works normally and the defending wizard's spell fails).
On a success, an opposed Spellcraft check is made by each wizard. If the wizard with the higher Spellcraft total fails to succeed by 5 or more, his own spell is used up with no effect. If the wizard with the higher total beats his opponent by 5 or more, the winning wizard has their spell succeed. In both cases, the spell of the wizard with the lower Spellcraft total fizzles and fails."
