Has anybody here ever been to ROC*CON?

Hi. I plan on going to ROC*CON in Little Rock this year. Has anybody here been to this CON recently? If so, what can you tell me about it? Please don't compare it to another CON as I have never been to one. Thanks.

i went AGES ago. Not much D&D stuff but we did have LARP VAmpire when i was playing that. It was pretty fun. I think i actually went to it when it first was getting started.

They did run some games (i was in part of a really cool Ravenloft game and a champions game)

All in all, although i was 17 at the time (im 22 now) i had a great time.

How i miss little rock. Grew up in Gravel Ridge and went to North Pulaski High ...

The really cool thing about Roc Kon this year is that it is being held in conjunction with TrollKon M1!! HUZAH HUZAH HUZAH



Yes you heard correctly. Troll Lord Games is sponsoring her second local convention with guest of honor Ernie Gygax! This year Legends of Erde the new ongoing campaign (much like any Living City games) debuts as well as RPG tournaments, open gaming, magic the gathering tournaments and so forth.

I'll try to drumage up the schedule for the con. I have it around here somewhere.

The dates are Sept. 27-29! Its going to be a blast folks you should really come by if you can. Its at the North Little Rock Hilton.
