I have it (ooh, the ribbon!), as does one of my friends.

I very much like it - the feel of it, and having the errata, and the ribbon.

There's something very nice about that leather cover (with ribbon), that I don't get from my standard PHB.

It helps that I think 3.5e D&D is the best version yet, of course.

Did I mention that it has a ribbon?

I have only purchased one DnD manual and it happens to be the special edition phb
I am going to get the special edition dmg when that is available.
The phb is a lovely book ,gilt edges ,nice paper ,faux leather binding and a glourious red ribbon to mark you're pages .
Nice book!

The FLGS has it's one copy marked down to $62.

If it makes it down to $45, I'll probably spring for it.
