Microsoft: "Are you comfortable working in an environment where all of your customers constantly attack everything you do no matter how well done it is, or how much it would be loved if released by another company?"

Sara: "I worked on the D&D brand."

Microsoft: "HIRED!"

Unfortunately it appears I need to spread the xp love around before I can send some your way.

For comparison's sake, when WotC's Star Wars brand manager left, it was a week between when she posted her goodbye message to the Wizards forums and when her replacement posted his hello message.

In contrast, when I was looking to hire an Associate Brand Manager, it took us five months to fill the slot.

Situations vary, in business as in all aspects of life. Don't read too much into it.

Yeah, remember that when other folks left, Scott basically just added their workload to his current responsibilities.

Often times "duties" are shifted for awhile until a new person is appointed to be officially in charge.

Ugh -- now I'm having cubicle flashbacks. Make it stop.
