Just curious. Have you ever use the OGL statement in the back of a book to inform or inspire you to buy another product listed therein?

Nope. Never once. I don't read the OGL in the back of a book. It's boring and doesn't help me in my game.

Yes. Tome of Horrors for instance, even if what really decided me is how my internet friends were raving about the book.

The what? The legal boilerplate? How would that ever help in deciding to purchase something or not?

At the very end of all the legal boilerplate is the Copyright Notice, which serves as something of a bibliography.

All of the works listed in the Copyright Notice were (one way or another) used to produce the work you hold in your hands.

Yes, kind of. I ended up purchasing the PDFs of Green Ronin's Advanced Player's Guide and Advanced Bestiary because of the material featured in Monte Cook's Best of d20 compilation. And there are other products that I've looked at, too, because of the section 15 information. I always end up reading it for my reviews, but I also check it out just for curiosity's sake.

Did you specifically read the OGL statement at the back of the book? I haven't seen the product, but I understood that it referenced the source in each monster entry.
