Has the OGL ever lead you to other purchases?

Have you ever made a purchase of a product based on it appearing in an OGL sect. 15?

Heck, it's the first thing I flip to when I open a book, to look at secton 15. I'm always curious as to if they borrowed from anything or if they screwed it up (which still happens most of the time, it seems.)

I mever really payed attention to the OGL until I started producing MODERNIZED, and had to teach myself how to use the license properly. Now that I'm "Section 15 savvy", I've reviewed most of the products I own, and...

Well, most of them are completely self-contained, citing only the work itself and the system reference document from which it derives. I know I tend to use a lot of OGC material (either directly or as inspiration); heck, each of my three available Pick 'n' Mix mechs (each only two pages long) cite between three to five different OGC sources. I would like to hope folks use my OGLs as shopping lists... judging from the polls, that doesn't seem likely.

I am another person who reads section 15- more for curiosity than looking for more books. I wish more publishers were like Second World and MEG in that they mention where the OGC is used (MEG required OGC in some books).

There is actually an ongoing debate among some people within the industry as to whether or not you are allowed to cite where the source came from outside of the Section 15 because of the terms of the OGL. Specifically, it falls under the compatibility clause. The whole argument is silly, if you ask me, but it also is a prime example of just how poorly worded the OGL is.

Yes, I've made decisions to check out and/or buy stuff I've seen listed in section 15. I've done it a number of times. EDIT: My reasoning: if I liked a product a lot, I usually find I like sources it used, also.
