Dungeons & Dragons got a rare shoutout during Hasbro's 3rd quarter earnings report, with Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks stating that the 2024 Core Rulebooks were off to a record start. Today, Hasbro released its third quarter 2025 earnings report, with Wizards of the Coast propping up the overall revenue for the company. Wizards of the Coast is up 33% YTD, with Magic: The Gathering having a 40% jump compared to last year. However, Cocks also called out Dungeons & Dragons in his comments, speaking to both the Core Rulebooks and D&D Beyond's Maps VTT.

Cocks' full comments (which are admittedly very brief) can be found below:
The refreshed 2024 editions of D&D’s Monster Manual, Players Handbook, and DM Guide are off to the strongest-ever start for D&D books. D&DBEYOND’S new, accessible virtual tabletop has driven weekly traffic up nearly 50% since its September launch.
Hasbro is having a good year, with total revenue up 7% compared to last year. Wizards is expected to be up 36-38% for 2025, largely due to the performance of Magic: The Gathering.

Up info on D&D. D&D 2024 had the biggest start of any edition. They see the best way to make money on D&D is digital games. From games for kids, to major action adventure & CRGPs, their internal studios have 5 D&D video games being made.

TTRPG is still important, and with a focus on D&D Beyond.

D&D has been such as small part of this year's profits because D&D was so back loaded in products for Q4 with Hellfire Club, 2 FR books, Edge of Twilight, and 3 DLCs, and Forge of the Artificer for Q4.

I think at last count, we have something like 45, maybe 50 shows and movies and reality TV offerings in development across a range of partners. We work with the best of the best. We’re working with Paramount, Warner Bros., Netflix, Universal, The Walt Disney Company, you name it, Lionsgate.

That's Hasbro wide, not WotC. There's no further information about the KPop Demon Hunters projects yet.

Thanks for the link. I found this interesting, and revealing, regarding where their thoughts and effort is.

Fred Wightman, Vice President, Investor Relations, Hasbro: Yeah, I think the big thing for Dungeons & Dragons is going to be digital games. We have several games in development. We’re working with some fantastic creators in that space. Like I said, for entertainment, we tend to be a little gun shy talking about projects too early. Very likely over the next, call it, couple quarters, you’re going to start to see more of our digital ambitions come to life with Dungeons & Dragons and understand some of the things we have in development. I think they’re going to be pretty exciting. Baldur’s Gate 3 was a seminal project. I think it really showed that if we build something that’s great, consumers will come. There’s probably five projects in development for Dungeons & Dragons across our portfolio, ranging from more casual and kid oriented to very high end action adventure and role playing games.

That’s in addition to a continued focus on building out the core business, the core TRPG, with a special emphasis on D&D Beyond as the best place to play a TRPG.

TLDR: "Thanks Magic the Gathering."?

Seeing how MtG is the main thing that makes Hasbro Money right now, they're right to absolutely right to gloat about their FF and Spiderman Earnings since their last earnings call. They need to sell the story that this was successful and more importantly will continue to be successful. No point in talking about D&D unless you got big news. This earnings call isn't for the fans.

Also to nobody's surprise, MTG continues to outscale the rest of Hasbro Total Gaming
