Haste and recovery from multiple rounds of stunning

I don't know if this has been asked before, but do spells such as haste help a character recover from effects that keep a character stunned for multiple rounds? So if a spell effect stuns a character for 10 rounds, and I'm hasted at the time, will I get better in 10 rounds or 5?

A slightly different way to say it. You are stunned based on the creature inflicting the stun (if you are stunned for 2 rounds, it is for their next two rounds worth of actions). Also note that it is for rounds (not actions) that you are stunned. There isn't a way to get rounds to go faster (timestop might work, but I think it still falls back to the other creature's action rule).

I would say Time Stop would work... but about the only way I can see it happening is if a familiar were to get stunned and his master either cast a Time Stop on the familiar, or on both of them using Share Spell.

Apart from familiars, the only person a wizard can cast the spell on is himself... and he can't do that if he's stunned...
