no - haste doesn't break the "round" mechanic of D&D - it just grants an extra partial action - nothing more, nothing less.

Now - if you wanted to use your partial action AS a 5-ft step... yeah, you could do that - unless you believe some of the rediculousness that I have had to put up with in this other thread here.

A full-round attack can include a 5ft step, so can a partial action. Or does the ruling of only one 5ft step per round supercede this?

Nah. You're not bitter. Sorry, I couldn't resist, but I'm just playin' around, as everyone should know, as I have yet to be rude on that thread.

But as to the question at hand, no. You are only allowed one 5-foot step per round, period. No ifs, ands, or buts. You could change the rules though.
