Hastur rides again!

That is just silly. To those who know what "Hastur" means they're gonna think this guy is a Cthulhu fan. Otherwise, his acronym is completely lost on folks.

Well, it is S. John Ross, game designer, who seems to have (or have had) the plate. That's part of his website. But he's in Texas, I believe, so I need to be patient and the plate will become available at some point...

The Miskatonic plate wrap, Yellow Sign window decal, and M.U. parking permit help with that, too. ;)

If I was trying to tick people off, I'd have gone for something like A55 0RGY. :p I've been a Mythos fan for about 13 years, and wanted a Lovecraftian plate since long before I got my first car -- most people don't get it, but I'm not aiming for most people.

And der_kluge, you're so right about needing to have three of these! I've got Michigan (hanging over my front door), so next time I move I'll have to check with the DMV beforehand to see if it's available. If not, I guess I'll move somewhere else! ;)

I'm here, and pissed off. I just found out why I can't get Hastur in Virginia...

http://www.io.com/~sjohn/hastur.htm

I had one guy pissed at me because I "stole" Sith Lord from him.... heck, I had to get a shortened version as the full spelling was taken when I got it... I thought he'd had it until then...

Mine is: "SITH LRD"

Granted I had some dingbat lady at church one day that asked a friend if that said "Sayeth the Lord"? Didn't care too much for her after she thought I'd steal her purse while cleaning up the sanctuary after service.

My former one had "WORF II" on it.

I've still got it somewhere in this house; never turned it in! :heh:

You could always go down and see if it's available...

You're supposed to turn them in? That seems pretty weak. Is it peculiar to your state?

Technically, yes. But I doubt many do. Or else how do those people end up with a garage wall full of them?

Dunno if it's just NC or not..
