Haunted abbey?

Whizbang Dustyboots

Gnometown Hero
The next adventure my player characters are doing (well, those that aren't running from the law -- some things never change from group to group, in my experience) will be performing an exorcism of a haunted abbey in the woods. The only things I know about it is that it's two stories (so that a room on the top floor can collapse and drop a player into a room full of dead bodies) and that there's an Amityville Horror-style hidden room with the evil McGuffin hidden inside. (In this case, a book of blasphemous knowledge that drove the abbess insane and led her to kill the other nuns before killing herself.)

Anyone know of such a location map? Barring that, anyone got something like that they could bust out? I'll be turning this into a story hour (I'm about three adventures behind post-crash, but will be putting the first one up soonish) and will credit the mapmaker, of course.

hey, here's a rough draft, a quick sketch anyway of what you might need

the building on the left is the church and sanctuary area, then the building to the right is the abbey. the place is surrounded by trees, with a road leading into the clearing, the building on the right in the treeline is the second floor, and then the seiries of boxes to the bottom right is the dungeon wine cellar below the abbey, with the room at the far right bottom corner being the secret room you were asking for.
let me know what you think.

Looks good! I hadn't thought about it, but you're right of course that there would be multiple buildings on the grounds, which just means more spots for various creepy things ...
