Haven RPG news

I often see news items relating to the Haven: City of Violence RPG on the main page, like today's mention of the Bulletproof Screen review.

Why is this? Haven isn't a d20/OGL game, afaik.

I'm not sure if we 'often' post news about Haven: City of Violence, but to answer your question....

Morrus has mentioned a few times there's no absolute 'only d20/OGL' rule at EN World. Anything of interest to the D&D/d20 community could be posted.

Also, with new OGL RPGs coming out which are not d20 compatible (I'm not talking about M&M or Arcana Unearthed, which are d20-compatible; I'm talking about things like Gold Rush Games' Action System), the whole D&D/d20/OGL definition is going to get increasingly blurred, IMHO.

Well, Haven isn't d20, d20/OGL, OGL, or open in any sense iirc.

But I guess it depends on Morrus &co.'s intentions for the site. I had assumed that, in general, the focus was on things d20(OGL or no)-related. I guess I'm simply wondering if Haven is simply trying to get exposure on a popular site, flying beneath the moderators' radar.

But I can be kind of paranoid... :)
