Having trouble with the Duskblade

I'm having a little trouble understanding the Duskblade's spell abilities. Is there a spell progression chart somewhere for spells KNOWN? I don't know whether they were too cheap to include it in the PHBII or what, but the wording in the Duskblade spells description is a little vague in my mind. Also, I'm right when i say he's just a spontaneous spellcaster who uses INT instead of CHA right?

There's no chart, it's listed early in the class description.

They start play with 2x Cantrip and 2x 1st known then learn one new spell (from any level they can cast) at each level.

They are spontaneous casters with Int as their primary stat.

Oh, and even though the book says they can learn Cantrips, there are no 0-Level spells on the Duskblade spell list

Even better, at 1st or 2nd level they get the ability to channel a touch-range spell through their melee attack; but they have almost no touch-range offensive spells...

The actual Duskblade spell list is immediately after the sample NPC; the list the book directs you to is only their new PHB2 spells. Great editing...

Duskblades start knowing a few cantrips and first level spells, and then learn 1 total spell each new level. Given their slower progression through spell levels, they end up with roughly 4 or 5 spells of each level, assuming the player always chooses to learn spells of the highest possible level.

Am I the only one who actually READS the book? I've had no problem understanding this class, but I see a lot of people complain about the editing in the PHB2, specifically with the Duskblade. Weird...

There is an editing error with the Duskblade. The class description refers people to the class spells list in the Spells chapter as the full spell list, instead of the actual complete list on page 24. And that list doesn't exactly leap from the page - the title text is small enough that at a glance you could mistake it for a part of the sample duskblade's text.

I'm with RM2 - no problems in putting it together. But in saying that, it was still a poor piece of editing on the pointer to the spell list itself, and I can see how someone could overlook it.
