It kinda has to go off-track, doesn't it? We're talking about huge sections of the novel allocated to kids that are 4 (Rickon), 6 (Bran), 8 (Sansa), 10 (Arya), and 13 (Daenerys) years old, right? Maybe I don't have all the ages right, but these kids are pretty horribly abused.LOL....true...but will it even stay completely true to the books or go slightly off on its own like other tv-from-book shows?

It's easy to look past in the novels, because you can visualize them as a little older. Take all of the preceding comments about Sansa and Arya, for instance. Go back and read them in the light of what you should rightfully expect from a little girl who, in our world, would still be playing with Barbie dolls. Sansa's gullible and naive you say? Arya thinks mean people should all die and doesn't think of herself as one you say? Well, what do you expect? They're just little girls.
I think a bigger problem is that if they stick with the "one season per book" idea and don't change the timeline, the child actors will age out of their roles too quickly.
