That's a start i think, his armor in the show was pretty scant so I wouldn't say plate is necessary. Longsword seemed the best choice for the power sword to me. He's mostly described as VERY agile, VERY athletic and able to endure a lot. Battlecat does have a few powers devoted to it, but He-man still runs the show a lot.

And I know the items are WAY out of his level range, but wtf, he's HE-MAN!

I was thinking that a handful of powers, granted from a heavenly source, that were passed down to only a chosen few over the last millenia, to battle against capital 'E' evil was more Greyskully than pygmy stone giants.

My humble suggestions, as a longtime He-Man fan:

He-Man: Goliath Warden. Longsword, Battleaxe, light shield. Harness functions as Hide armor. Magical bracers, belt and boots.

Man-at-Arms: Human Artificer/Warlord. Mace, hand crossbow (pistol), plate armor.

Teela: Human Ranger/Rogue. Short sword, light shield, leather armor.

The Sorceress: Deva Druid.

Skeletor: Revenant Wizard/Swordmage. Staff, sword, leather armor.

Evil-Lyn: Human Warlock (infernal). Rod, leather armor.

Mer-Man: Sahuagin Fighter/Barbarian.

Beastman: Half-Orc Barbarian.

Trap Jaw: Warforged Fighter.

She-Ra: Deva Avenger.

Hordak: Tiefling Warlock/Bard.

Ram-Man: Dwarf Fighter - battleaxe, plate armor, horned helm.

saw the pic, very nice.

Man-at-Arms: Human Artificer/Warlord. Mace, hand crossbow (pistol), plate armor.

I'd argue Artificer/Fighter, as He-Man is the leader. I get what you're saying, so good second choice for warlord, and it gets the theme.

Teela: Human Ranger/Rogue. Short sword, light shield, leather armor.

aaaaaaaaaand no! Short Sword? Shield? When did she have either? She obviously was a staff fighter. Ranger yes, but Rogue? She's the Sorceress's daughter, who eventually (effectively) multiclasses into an arcane spellcasting class (in theory; we don't get to see the finished product in the series, I don't think; maybe the new series).

The Sorceress: Deva Druid.
Maybe. I'd argue hybrid Druid for the wildshape powers, and the PP for becoming an eagle. The rest could be, well, Sorcerer (although she's really more of an arcane-powered Invoker).
Ultimately an NPC. I'd skip the build and go controller, with a shapeshift to eagle form. She has a fly speed and isn't a dragonborn scion of arkhosia, so can't be a PC.

Skeletor: Revenant Wizard/Swordmage. Staff, sword, leather armor.

Lich. Warlock Dark Pact. Sword proficiency, or just a really big pact blade. Staff (Havok staff) proficiency if warlocks don't start with it, or just call his staff a rod. bam. WOTC needs a skeleton PC race, for PC liches. so key.
I'd love to see an NPC monster block.

Evil-Lyn: Human Warlock (infernal). Rod, leather armor.

Tricky. I'd be tempted for illusionist wizard. She's not into using eldritch blast as often as skeletor, and seems more like a controller than a striker.

Mer-Man: Sahuagin Fighter/Barbarian.

Beastman: Half-Orc Barbarian.

Trap Jaw: Warforged Fighter.

monsters. Beastman has Leader, as he can summon and control beasts fo various types. Merman also, as he's got his forces.

She-Ra: Deva Avenger.

What?! she has hair! Aasimar, sure, but not Deva. Paladin for sure, as she's got a warhorse (less active than battlecat, and comes when she calls).
I don't get the Avenger part.

Hordak: Tiefling Warlock/Bard.

Not a PC. I'd go Hobgoblin if I had to.

Ram-Man: Dwarf Fighter - battleaxe, plate armor, horned helm.
Nice one. Maybe Mace rather than battleaxe, or a hammer.

Teela: in the cartoon she was all about sword and shield. The staff that came with her action figure back in 1983 was supposed to complement the snake outfit in turning her into the Sorceress (as per the minicomics by Alfredo Alcala).

She-Ra: Deva because she's intelligent, wise and poised. Avenger because Etheria's Crystal Castle strikes me as more divine than primal. Also, avenger lets her use sword, no armor, and is thematically appropriate, as she is a freedom fighter trying to release her planet from the rule of a fiendish overlord (I always pictured Hordak as the ultimate evil of the MotU mythos, even worse than Skeletor).

Interesting. The modern cartoon also had her using the staff.

Indeed! I remember thinking it'd be cool if Skeletor was a warlock with Hordak as the dude he made the pact with.

I think the primal spirits/divine powers are somewhat blended in He-Man/She-Ra. The Horde, and Skeletor, are more primordial/abyss. There's that episode (written by Paul Dini, of DC Animated fame) where Skeletor summons an outsider and can't handle it.

Question: Horde Prime. Hordak discusses it, and seems to be merely a local functionary of the Horde in comparison to it. What is it?

Horde Prime has appeared in some of She-Ra's episodes... well, at least his gigantic, robotic hand could be seen, larger than Hordak himself. So if Hordak is something like a fiend or devil, Horde Prime would be a god unto himself.

As for Skeletor, he was Hordak's student, and betrayed his master to keep Eternia to himself, when the Horde first invaded. Hordak managed to steal Princess Adora, though. This was depicted in the Secret of the Sword movie.

I prefer Primal for the spirits of Grayskull, since there isn't much religion/worship in the cartoons and minicomics.
