Healing domain and scrolls of CLW

If another cleric "casts" the Cure Light Wounds for the scroll you make they can cast it up to their caster level. If its a first level caster, that means it'll do 1d8 + 1

Actually, the scroll can only be cast at its caster level. If a 1st level caster tries to cast the spell from a scroll scribed at 2nd (caster) level, she'll need to make a caster level check at DC3 to succeed.

This is how it works.

The scroll is at CL 1 but when a Cleric with the Healing Domain cast from the scroll you apply the +1 CL.

The Domain power is "All Heal spells are cast at +1 CL"

Yes, but a normal scroll of cure light wounds is made at 1st caster level.

If I'm a 5th level Cleric, I cast cleric spell as a 5th level caster.

If I'm a 7th level Wizard, I cast spells as a 7th level caster. If I buy a scroll of Fireball, it deals 5d6 points of damage, not 7d6 points.

If the 5th level cleric uses a scroll of Cure Light Wounds, it cures 1d8+1 not 1d8+5.

The healing domain doesn't help with magic items.

Sorry, their must be a slight confusion. I did not mean a 1st level caster was acutally casting the scroll. I ment if another Clericn assisted in making a scroll with someone with the healing domain, its up to who does the spell casting to determine how much the scroll would cure, and cost.

Tis OK, I used to think the Healing domain would work for magic items. But thanks to ENWorld, I have repented from those ways.

I just wanted to say thanks for the input guys. I was going to be using these soon and wanted to make sure that I wasnt going to be making any mistakes. Our DM is more than fair and I wouldnt want to try and p*** in his pool.
