What do you think about this build? The vision is to have an healing gnome covered in plate and protecting himself with a tower shield (its cute!). Gnome is perhaps not the most optimal race for the build, i admit that but i like the gnomes.

It was this things i had in focus when i made the character:

1. I want him/her to be a healer
2. I want it to be a gnome - cause they rule the world
3. I want it to have as high AC as possible - good for tanking
4. I want a shield
5. I want the build to represent the miniature (a bloodstone gnome from reaper, covered in plate, carrying a tower shield and a hand weapon.
6. I want him/her to be as fast as possible, being able to move around.

Is there something you think should be improved? When it comes to feats or the ability points (25 point). Picking high STR really costs alot for me but i see it as important. The tanking/healing cleric wouldnt be so good keeping people alive if it does low dmg.

Maybe iv focused to much on combat. Perhaps i should dress him up in medium/light armor and a regular shield. Taking a level in barbarian for even more movement and try to get dodge, mobility, spring attack and alot of fleet. That way i could run around healing everyone.

Any particular reason for cleric over the oracle (same spells, based on CHA, Battle mystery might help combat or you can go healing mystery, limited spells known but spontaneous casting kinda balances that)

I would suggest Adamantine Armor (3/- Damage Reduction) if you can, Mithral Tower Shield (helps weight, and weight will be an issue in that much armor)

What kinda hand weapon is it on the figure? Don't forget armor spikes either

I want to have heavy or medium armor. That would really slow me down and the oracle dont have any ability to help me with that. Im thinking of playing as a sacred servant paladin instead thus gaining access to travel domain.

if you take lame curse, your speed is reduced to 15 (same as in heavy) and you are immune to fatigue, exhaustion, encumbrance due to weight and the reduction due to armor

The Flame Mystery provides some nice combat spells and has a revelation that gives +10 spd, and 2 movement feats

It is your character, so your build in the end, just trying to suggest an alternative that might work better (with out test, I can only compare them on paper)

Yeah. I started to look into Oracle and decided to build him like this:

1 level Barbarian - +10 speed. Rage!
2 level Oracle - lore mystery and haunted curse.

My character will start at level 2. Future levels will be in mostly oracle. Perhaps another barbarian level and rage prophet.
