Hellish Rebuke Warlock (Infernal) Attack 1

Text removed. Do not copy and paste text from illegally pirated PDFs. ~ PCat

Hit: 1d6 + Constitution modifier fire damage. If you take
damage before the end of your next turn, the target takes
an extra 1d6 + Constitution modifier fire damage.

Can someone explain me last sentence? " If you take
damage before the end of your next turn, the target takes
an extra 1d6 + Constitution modifier fire damage" ex:

monster A
monster B
Warlock (wlock)

warlock cast hellish reb and hit monster A. Then monster B hit and damage wlock.... hellish rebuke do dam to monster A?
If monster B make multiple hit and dam to wlock, monster A take multiple dam from hellish rebuke?
If a wlock jump down from a roof and take dam, helish rebuke do dam to monster A?

to me seems to much overpowered, it's like a mark more powerfull for an AT-WILL power....

It takes extra damage only once, no matter how many time you get hurt during that round. But sure, you could jump off a roof to do more damage to it. That's kind of cool, actually.

One of my favorite Binder moments was when I aided in a duel by stabbing myself in the leg.

This would be an entertaining use of an enemy with a small damage aura, like a point or so.

Even better: Jump off a roof onto the monster! Not that a Warlock would be any good at that, but... ;)

Why not? Skill Training (athletics) or (acrobatics), right?

Am I missing something?

This is actually a really good power if you're under the effects of ongoing damage anyway. If you save, you're no longer being damaged. If you fail, you take damage but so does your enemy. It's a win-win (sort of)!

Multiclass Warlock / wizards should take blood mage. Just saying.

Only if their Int is equal or greater than their warlock casting stat...otherwise, the hit to attack is not worth it. It's a great class for Wizards though, better than any warlock paragon class for locks.

A great use is to partner with a paladin and trigger an OA from his Divine Challenge target.
