hello, a few questions

First Post
Hello guys, my books will be unavailable to me for a few days and I seem to have forgotten a few things.

1. What does an enhancement bonus on a weapon, a shield, or armor do?
2. What does spell resistance do?
3. Is there a thing such as spell immunity?
4. What does the monkey grip feat do?

Thanks very much in advance!!!

1. On weapons, it adds +1 attack and damage, and allows you to fully harm anything with DR x/magic. It also lets you harm ghosts and other such enemies with a 50% miss chance, among other small benefits. Note the +1 attack does not stack with the masterwork benefit, so the first +1 is really only +1 damage.
For armor and shields, it adds 1 to the armor/shield's AC bonus.

2. For any spell that does not ignore SR (most don't), the caster has to equal or surpass your SR # on a caster level check, or the spell does not affect you. This goes for harmful AND beneficial spells. You can ignore your own SR when casting on yourself.

3. Yes. Golems often have it, among other things. Doesn't necessarily mean you're actually immune to ALL spells, mind you. Might just be a small list.

4. Use a larger sized weapon with only a -2 attack penalty (instead of -4). It's a really sucky feat. Don't take it.

EDIT: While away from your books, there's always this: www.d20srd.org

thank you very much streamofthesky!

EDIT: So lets say I have someone with a spell resistance of 15, the dc is 15 and the caster must roll a d20 plus his caster level?

2nd EDIT: So is there a better feat for wielding a larger sized weapon? Also thanks for the site it's great!!!
