Help! Cleric LVL 16 Spell Selection options

Hey all!

As I said in another post, I am having trouble maintaining a good spell list. Seems that I typically have the wrong spells memorized for the quests...so here goes a post to see what people think of what I am doing and hopfully people can suggest alternatives!

My character is more of a spell caster than a melee character. If needed in combat, he goes, but otherwise will stay behind the fighter and in front of the wizard :)

Also, I need to make scrolls to compensate for spells that I have not memorized...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Con 12

Feats( yes i made some errors. With PHBII rules though I can change some..any suggestions?):
Combat Casting
Improved Init
Scibe Scoll
Craft Arms/Armor
Craft Wonderous Item
Leadership( free feat we all got)
Reach Spell
Divine Metamagic

I play with 4 other players (we alternate dming, so out of 5 only 4 play at a time)
Wizard/?/? Lvl 16
Fighter 16
Rogue/?/? 15
Bla Bla 16/?/? (Don't remember, but Archer Specialist that can put spells into arrows)
(/? = has prestige classes I can't remember)

We have alot of variation from Hack and Slash to Very social adventrues...5 DMs means 5 Different Styles

Pretty much all Recognized books are allowed (Compete Divine/Spell Comp/ etc... ) but not book of Vile Darkenss/Exhalted Deeds)


Domains: Luck and Trickery

Spells I cast on myself almost every day:
Divine Insight
Resistance Superior
Triad Spell (Searing Light)
Iron Silence (Cause due to magic item, I have a good move silently)

Typical Spell List:

Lvl 1:
(7 Spells / Day)
Resurgence (x2)

Lvl 2:
(7 Spells / Day)
Calm Emotions (x2)
Living Undeath (x2)
Quick March (x2)
Restoration Lesser

Lvl 3:
(7 Spells / Day)
Searing Light (x3 due to Triad Spell)
Invisibility Purge
Knights Move
Dispel Magic
Cure Serious Wounds (I inflict not Cure)
Stone Shape
Telepathic Bond Lesser

Lvl 4:
(6 Spells / Day)
Assay Spell Resistance (x2)
Dimensional Anchor
Divination
Divine Power
Recitation

Lvl5:
(5 Spells / Day)
Commune
Life's Grace
Flame Strike
Righteous Might
Triad Spell

Lvl6:
(4 Spells / Day)
Stone Body
Harm
Heal
Resistance Superior

(3 Spells / Day)

Summon Monster 8 (what monster do you recommend??)
Veil Of Undeath (personally, one of my favorite spells! Love it!!)

That is a major problem IMO, but let's not get into that here. It certainly GREATLY affects the spells chosen. I would never cast cure spells on party members, that's for sure.
 

Very nice stats.

Those are obviously with magic items (periap of wisdom, belt of Giant Strenght, Cloak of Charisma). Lets just say that the Feats Create Weapons/Armor and Create Wonderous Item, although very costly at the end, was very usefull to me! lol ;)

Yes this applies to Reach Spell Metamagic :) So far I like it although I kind of regret not having taken Quicken..but everyone takes that one :)

Where are all the domain spells? And, I note that you have the spells/day for 7th and 8th level wrong. Not even including domain spells, you get 4/day and 3/day, respectively.

I didn't list the domain spells cause they are so easily available in the PHB. Tomorrow I will post them without a problem. Its 1:10 AM here and I gots to go to bed!! lol

As for the number of spells per day....well that is very interesting indeed....feel free to go into more detail!! cause quite frankly, I don't know where the other spells come from! :)

As for the cure spell, I only have it under extreme emergency..i'm not a healing machine, but sometimes a well placed heal really counts!...the Heal spell though is usually used on me however :) or the Fighter when he is saving our butts!
