D&D General Help: Dark Tower or Vecna, Eve of Ruin?

So I’m closing on the end of my current face-to-face campaign, running Scarlet Citadel by Kobold Press, and it’s gone well IMO, but I’m torn on what to run next ( probably around September-ish as we play monthly) and want to spend a bit of time modifying the campaigns a bit before starting.
I’m drawn by the nostalgia of the 50th Anniversary, but both products tick that box well. I’ve played in the original JG Dark Tower decades ago, enjoy dungeons and want to pay tribute to Jennell Jacquays. OTOH, I also like the “grand tour” of D&D’s history offered by Vecna.
My group is brilliant. We have gamed together for around 20 years and they will quickly engage in any campaign storyline, exhibiting great role playing and intelligent gameplay in equal measures. One of the players ( @TheSword ) is a regular on here.

So, what is the combined wisdom of ENWorld? Should I run Dark Tower or Vecna?

What levels is Dark Tower? I know nothing about it, but have heard great things about Jennell Jacquays overall. If it's like the rest of 5E's stuff, you could run it to level 10, then transition to Vecna. Having read Venca, overall it looks really good. Having knowledge about the different locations will certainly enhance the adventure, which I plan to do before each chapter. There's a semi-lame plot twist, but there's some different options to work around it (or at least make it better).
