Hero
1> a town/city/kingdom name
The Markat Territories, composed of the cities of Markat, Landsend, and Anchorhead. 3 large trading cities at the tip of a large peninsula. The fourth city, Threshold, has been ruins for centuries after a terrific battle involving hundreds of wizards and a dragon. The entire region is secretly ruled by the Umbral Court, a family of illusionists.
2> a diety name (with portfolio or domains)
Medea, demigod of War, Mentalism, and Tyranny. Seeks to conquer the world and rule it directly, without need of clerics intermediaries. Has an army of extraplanar mercenaries at his disposal which he pays with the souls of his worshiipers
3> an npc name (with race/class)
Arius of Warwec. Human deathknight paladin 10/ blackguard 20, last member of the First Among the Fallen, 13 powerful champions of good who were corrupted by the alien demongod Abomination.
4> a geographical feature name (forests, rivers, mountains, etc)
Godfang Peak, highest mountain the the Norgoth mountain range, site of a major temple to the lost druidic order of the Goth gods.
5> the name of a new location or landmark (something cool to pass by or visit)
The Wall, a 9 mile long black wall of adamanitite that stands a mile high, rising out of the ocean a few hundred miles off the coast of the elven forest island.
6> the name of a legend (hero, battle, cataclysm, fairy tale, other)
The Fall of Threshold, a titanic battle which was caused when the dragon imprisoned beneath the city awoke and was angry. The people of the city had forgotten Thresholds original purpose: the wardens of the dragon's prison. When the dragon awoke, the city was the largest trading center on the continent, and the battle that ensued lasted for weeks, involving hundreds of mages and knights, and resulted in the cities destruction and the dragon flying off to the west, never to be seen again. It is said the the dragons return will herald the end of the world. (at least, it is said by those who live near the ruins)
7> the name of a magic item
The Eletec Krazors are single edged bastard swords with a flat tip, looking almost like a long straight razor with a hilt. Used by the Eletec Knights, these swords are all made of adamantite and engraved with the sigil of the wizard House that the knight serves. Upon a succesful critical hit, 1 level of uncast spell energy is drained from the target and bestowed upon the wielder. If the target does not posses spellcasting ability, it instead causes one point of temporary Charisma damage, but still gives the wielder one spell level. The spell level may be spent to cast a 1st level spell immediately as a free action, or banked in the sword. Up to 9 spell levels may be held in the sword at any one time, and may be used to power a spell prepared by the wielder, or power a spell known by the wielder in the case of sorcerers (which almost all Eletec Knights are)
8> the name of a new posion/herb/metal/wood/etc
Hennis, a poison made from the leaves of the rare sekolah flower, a purple and red blossom. Will save DC 20, initial damage 1d4 Int AND 1d6 spell levels lost (highest first), secondary damage 1d6 Int AND 1d8 spell levels. Used almost exclusively by the Ni'it Sekolah assassins, a radical human supremacist group who seeks to destroy all elves.
9> something else. surprise us.
The world is actually the rightful domain of an evil god, and humanity and the Good aligned races are interlopers!
