I need some assistance from the learned group here. I need to market price an item crafted under the standard 3.5 edition craft rules.

Item: Raider's Sword

+2 Scimitar (8,315) with the following abilities;

Glitterdust 3/day

Mirror Image 2/day

Whirlwind 1/week

I'd do the prices for the spells as normal cost multipliers for additional powers as well as non-standard slot. I'd also pick one CL (the highest minimum) for all of them. Charges per day as per the DMG gives a reduction in cost equal to charges / 5.

By "whirlwind", is that a spell or is that the whirlwind attack feat?

Cheers,

I was the player of the PC that had this item back in second edition.

I want to drop clues to the wareabouts of this item in my new campaign. Just wanted to price it out so I understand where it "should" fall in the party wealth range.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to price out the per day use spell abilities in the sword.

I thought I a saw an extended article in Dragon that went over in detail how you go through the mechanics of pricing out some none standard items? Anyone know of a reference or a good online article?
