Help interpreting Open Game License

Now, I just need to re-word my section on character creation to point to PHB references, since I can't describe that process.

That is only forbidden if you are using the D20 System Logo, not by the OGL itself. If you are using the D20 Logo than be careful: you cannot reference the books by page number. So you can't say "see, PHB pg 23". You have to say, "See PHB, Chapter 2 Races, Dwarves."

I am using the d20 logo... and correct... cannot refer to specific pages because future editions may not be paginated in the same manner.

I don't have the MotP... is the term "Ethereal Plane" OGC?

Ethereal Plane is public domain, it doesnt need to be OGC.
