Help! Looking for a good, non-D&D, RPG, preferably D20.

I started playing D&D regularly about 5 years ago and, while I still enjoy it, I'm getting bored with it. Unfortunately, I haven't played to many other RPG's, so I don't know where to turn.

I have played Rifts, a long time ago, and enjoyed it. I also played Shadowrun and Ninjas & Superspies and I enjoyed them, but they were also played a long time ago. What other RPGs are out there that are enjoyable? I would prefer D20, if possible, because I'm pretty used to it by now, but I am open to any suggestions, D20 or not.

Thanx!

It depends on what you're bored with inside of DnD.

If your bored with low tech - high magic fantasy worlds then you could try Judge Dred from Mongoose.

If you want a game that is less fantasy and more reality then maybe d20 modern is for you.

If you want more danger then maybe d20 CoC is up your alley.

I really depends on what you're bored with in the DnD system and where you're looking to go.

My group has been playing Mutants and Masterminds, and it's loverly. The point-based character creation is kind of fun in itself, the powers are cool and can be used to make just about any guy you can think up, and the rules are streamlined compared to 3e, the only die you need is a 20-sided. If you like superhero games, you'll like this. We tried a powerful-supers modern setting session or two to get a feel for the rules, then built pulp heroes and we're playing that this weekend. Four larger-than-life heroes headquartered in a dirigible in 1935, what could be better?

I've heard good things about Feng Shui if you like hong kong action movies, but I've never played it so I can't say anything for sure.

The D20 treatment of Fading Suns is great. It is a science fiction setting, with some mysticism, but does not feel like Forgotten Realms 40k. Dragonstar can be fun, but I have not run it, only mined it for use in Star Wars and Fading Suns.

on deadlands

I second deadlands, but would recommend the non-d20 version even more! It is not too hard to learn, and the mixture of chips, multiple dice, paper clips, and cards adds to the fun. But this is not to run down deadlands d20. Go cowboys! (And Indians!)

Nothing like the sweet sound of an undead head being blown off some ugly by a bullet from your trusty Bullard Express rifle! :)
