HELP! Looking for a great published adventure

Wimsey

First Post
Hi! My group and I are searching for a great published adventure to play. We will stop playing in a few months, so we want to enjoy a final great tale!

Things we like:

- Complex and well developed NPCs.
- Intrigue, misteries and subplots.
- Few but memorable combats.
- Interesting environments.
- Handouts.

Thinks we don't like:

- Lots of dungeon crawling.

Our favourite adventures are, by far, the three first modules of WHFRP's "The Enemy Within" campaign.

Thanks!

Well, you don't like dungeon crawling but I woudldn't overlook the Banewarrens by Monte Cook. It's an excellent module with everything you have listed above. It's 8-10th level.

Info on levels would be a big help.

One I like a lot is The Grey Citadel from Necromancer Games for 6-9th level characters. Does include some dungeon crawling, but also has a fair bit of problem solving and some nice NPCs.

See the reviews database for mine and other reviews of this.

We had a lot of fun with Mad God's Key in Dungeon #114.
A bit of roleplay a bit of hack and slash.
Great great great adventure especially for starting players. You get to use a lot of your abilities.

Mesopotamia is one of my favorties right now. I would love to run it. The full title is Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia. From Necromancer Games.

The original Tomb of Horrors.

Handouts, pictures of everything you encounter, great stuff.

Plus, with Tomb of Horrors, it's dungeon groveling, not dungeon crawling.
