I don't have my books in front of me, so I apologize if I make a mistake.
I want to make a 6th-level character.
Enlightened Fist is a prestige class in Complete Arcane that requires "3rd level arcane caster" (among other things like 8 ranks of concentration and a couple of feats). There is a feat Practiced Spellcaster in Complete Arcane that increases your caster level for one class by 4 as long as the caster level is not above your hit dice.
So can I take one level of wizard/sorcerer/wu-jen and then take Practiced Spellcaster for that arcane class and meet those requirements. I'm trying to avoid taking unnecessary non-monk levels to get into the class, does this work?
