Have you looked at the flesh warper prestige class form lords of madness? That might be wierd enough... I always thought that a feral warforged was a strange idea, and would make for an especially good barb if your DM allows for Improved natural attack or whatever it's called.

Actually its the Incarnate Construct template...they use a golem as the base creature.

Although IIRC there was such a talking goldfish on an old cartoon called Earthworm Jim... he had a robotic body and the goldfish bowl was the "head". Could be interesting.
