Help Me Equip My 8th Level Wizard

Gloves of Dexterity +2 (4000) and Ring of Protection +1 (2000) would be better and cheaper than Ring of Protection +2 (8000)
Seconded.

Consider that AC might not be where you want to sink your cash. Increase Int, Dex, Con (in that order), cloak of resistance, and then Boccob's Blessed Book. As a wizard, you really, really, really want to have as diverse a spell selection as possible. That's the wizard's strength.

BTW, shouldn't this thread be combined with a few of your other threads on this same topic???

I started one other thread asking about how to get my AC up. People seem to be talking more about various spells to use rather than equipment. That's the only thread I know of that I've started on this topic.

Edit: Correction, I did start another thread regarding the Defending special ability. I figured that was a totally seperate discussion so it should be in a seperate thread.

I forgot to mention pearls of power. Nothing better for getting more spells off per day. They are relatively cheap and at least I found them to be very handy.
1st lvl =1k
2nd lvl= 2k
3rd lvl= 9k

Yes there is - Ring of Wizardry I-IX. If using MIC, just add em up and stack em all on the same ring. Double entire non cantrip spell progression including bonus spells!!!!

If you are a Cleric - Petition Deity for Clerical Equivalent -

If you are Mystic Theurge... Cost is a PITA, but it would be really really sweeeet. MIC makes it so that you don't increase the cost for just stuffing it all on the same ring.
