Help me find a Feat or two!

So, here's the situation. I'm building a 7th level fighter (or maybe paladin). Here's the catch, I've decided to use the new Book of Exalted Deeds - specifically the Vow of Poverty. This means I get a basic weapon, and that's it. I did roll very well on my stats (two 18s and nothing lower than 14).

So here's what I'm looking for: feats or class abilities which allow you to use additional stat modifers for things like AC, to-hit, or damage - much like the paladin ability to add your CHA bonus to saves. I figure with these high stats, that might give me an edge since I won't get any items... At all.

You mean like the monk's Wis bonus to AC, Duelist's Int bonus to AC, Paladin's smite ability (Cha bonus to attack, level bonus to damage), etc?

As you can see, these are mostly Class abilities... You'd have to multi-class like crazy in order to get a lot of advantages...

I made standard feats in my campaign for characters to add other stats to their AC (Reckless Abandon for Cha, Canny Defense for Int, frex), which don't work with armour and get lost when you lose your Dex bonus.

Makes smart, charming rogues (who don't lose the Dex bonus when flat-footed) the hardest things to hit on the battlefield.

True, but I'm not set on any one class as of yet, so I will likely choose the best or perhaps best two (assuming they fit together). All I've really decided on is the Vow. I'd like to combine some class abilities with a feat or two, if possible - but I've yet to find a feat that is similar to those class abilities. I was hoping that one of you knowledgeable folks might know of one or two...

Yeah, Monk 1 or 2/Pal X with some turning feats would be not too bad.. kind of stat dependant though, everything but Int will be needed for something or other...
