Pathfinder 1E Help me find a magic item that summons assassin ghost

Hello,
I have prepped a dungeon which has hidden passageway which was supposed to contain this magical bottle that can summon a deadly (red?) ghost undead that can be ordered to target a person in 10 miles (iirc) and kill him. There was some sort of battle of wills (a saving throw) and the horrifying ghost might actually kill the user instead.
what is this magic item? Which book was it in? I have been trying to find it desperately, and remember reading about it in one of my books.

It is not, it wasn't an artifact level magic item. and it summoned a specific creature.

Well not exactly what you're asking, but close. I participated in a map contest and won, with this entry of the Assassin's Amulet, which is the key to an extra-dimensional space used as a hideout for a live assassin. Though you could make it a ghost I suppose. The space matches the shape of the amulet itself...

If you don’t mind some tweaking, in 5e CoS, there’s a magic mirror upstairs in the Vallaki Burgomaster’s Mansion that could work.
