Pay and Play place found.......

I found a gaming club that charges monthly and yearly membership.... Ranging from 20-100 bucks for limited to unlimited access to their facilities. ALL games are played there and they even do the computer games. If my group split the cost, it would be 25 bucks per person for an entire year of unlimited private space to play RPG's! What do you all think?

My friends and I used to reserve one of the conference rooms at our local library fairly regularly so we would have a quite place to play M:TG.

[edit: at no charge I might add]

I think that's an excellent price. Personally, I'd prefer to play in someone's home, but if everyone was living in student slums with no furniture, that your club would be an excellent choice. (I'm not knocking student slums, I spent years in them myself, but they aren't as comfortable as a real house with actual furniture, you know?)

We play at someone's office (the DM's workplace). It's nice - big conference table, comfy chairs, and no distractions (phones are forwarded to an answering service).

If someone's office is not available, the 100/year sounds great. Only 25/person is a bargain.

If you're near a college, you might be able to play in their union. That's where one of my games is. Heck, I'd check and see if there was a gaming club on campus. They often don't advertise very well, but in my experience most colleges have them. That would likely net you a place to play AND some potential players. Not a bad deal, all in all.
