I wonder if any out there can help me out pointing me to some images I can use in my game.
In my new campaign, I plan to have a giant automaton, and I want an illustration to show the players to help them visualize it.
Specifically, it walks on legs, but can also convert into an Appartus of Kwalish type submersible.
The story is that the citizens of a fishing village bought this thing from Merfolk a couple centuries ago to deal with a problematic wizard. Although it helped them defeat the wizard, it became inactive right after, and now it stands inert on the bluffs above the village, staring out to sea and rusting.
Since it is of Merfolk origin, it would be cool if it were "crab-like" like the Apartus of Kwalish is described as being.
Anyway, I've had no like with Google Image Search. Can any one point me in the right direction for some automaton art?
