Okay, thanks for the run-downs on Traveller. Does anyone have any experience with Star HERO's Terran Empire? It sounds similar to Traveller's original campaign setting, but I'd be interested on knowing how close they are, how they differ, and what the pros and cons are to each (subjectively of course).

Honestly, the biggest strength of any HERO setting is the ease with which you can alter things to suit your tastes due to the system's mechanics.
