Help me locate an old adventure

I'm trying to locate an older adventure, I don't recall if it was BECMI, AD&D, or AD&D 2e. But I know it was out during the TSR days.

My memory is pointing towards the final AD&D years, but I can't be sure. It may have been in Dungeon, one of the TSR annuals, or even the TSR Jam.

The one defining clue is that the party encountered a (stranded?) deep gnome (I think he was drunk on the deep gnome brew) camped on the far shore of a underground cave filled with a lake. The gnome's name was Clinker and I recall (maybe wrongly) he had a hatred for goblins/hobgoblins . . . I'm recalling (maybe wrongly) he may have had class levels in rogue/thief.

The adventure was for lower levels, maybe in the level 4-7th range . . .

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that was "The Shattered Circle," a 2e era module.

You are right! And it is no wonder I couldn't find it in my collection. That must have made it into my wife's scouring to sell old RPG books as we moved from house to house. Going through my books in boxes, it seems my 2nd Edition era books are surprisingly . . . thin.

Were that on .pdf I'd buy it that way, but looks like I'm going to acquire the physical book a second time!
