help me make a cool 6th level character

dude- you can use the insanely-broken Traps & Treachery sneak-attack feats?!

MAX OUT THE ROGUE stuff!!

All sneak-attack, man.
I don't know about harpers, but if you can get away with it, only take one level of Ranger (for TWF, of course) and go human Ranger1/Rogue5.

You'd be well on your way to sneak-attack munchiness that would surpass the Rogue Smackdown in the Sultans of Smack thread (and you'd have TONS of skill-points, too)

I would suggest a bard 3/ranger 3, half-elf or elf. Tailor-made for being a Harper. Both classes give you a fair amount of skills, you get good combat access from each, with spellcasting later on. You would focus on Charisma, Dexterity, and Intelligence, and choose feats such as Weapon Finesse, Expertise, and other swashbuckling talents. Advance in each class one at a time, and I think you'll do very well.

With that combo, you'd end up with a BAB of +5, and base saves of Fort +4/Reflex +4/Will +4, which is not that bad even compared to a straight fighter, rogue or ranger. Choose bard spells that accentuate your interest in stealth and combat, and you would even be very close to qualifying for the Harper Scout PrC in the FRCS.

Cheers,
Cam

Make a Rogue 2, Fighter 1, Barbarian 1, Ranger 1, Cleric 1. Nice saves and skill points (assume Rogue as starting class). Pick Strength and Luck domain. A bit of healing, rage and other cool abilities does not hurt.
