Help me pick a PDF!

I'm looking to buy new gaming material, and figured I'd try out a pdf, as I haven't really looked at any that cost money. Just wanted some suggestions as to what to get.

What I'm looking for is something that is targetted to players, with flavorful crunch being a major part of the product. My ideal would be something close to the Player's Guides by Sword and Sorcery Studios. Each feat, PrC and new rule shows how it would fit into the world, and has suggestions on how to incorporate it into your own game.

Thanks for the help. I'll be waiting for your reply!

PDFs tend to be much more specialized than any print book, and generally cover more esoteric subjects. You may want to try looking at Malhavoc Press's stuff, I think that's the closest you're going to find to something as general as you would like.

Well sadly, me hearty, I think ye may have desires ol' Cap'n Morrus cannot fix. Y'see, scrub, at E.N. Piracy, me an' me mateys have sailed some of the mightiest o' these "pdf" ships ye'll see anywhere on the seven seas. But, arrrr, they be not for you, it seems. At the market port of "RPGNow," ye'd find we be at the top o' the privateer heap, even about those who call themselves Privateers, the scurvy dogs.

I know I may be talkin' ye ear off, scrub, so I'll be as short as a cat has three legs. E.N. Piracy makes good pdfs, or so they say in any good port ye'll find, but most be more intensive to designing. If I may say, they be admiral's book, not so much for crew, or even first mates or captains. In Elements of Magic, that most diabolical of things we may find in cold seas where there be dragons, ye take the rules and design yer own reason t' use it, see. And in me best favorite, there be Tournaments, Fairs, n' Taverns, yo ho. Aye, talk o' this book of games has kept the crew gladly sweepin' the poop even if they be eatin' gruel ev'ry night.

Arrr, there be many a fine book in the pdfs, but if ye be wanting all the work done for ye, get ye back on land, before we make we dance with Jack Ketch. Yarrrrrr.
