Help me please!

I'm sorry if I sound naive in this, but how on earth do I take part in ISRP? When I open the window it just comes up with a swirly blue screen, I can't see any text and I can only look at people's stats and descriptions, but there's never anyone there to look at!

Moreover, where do I type in commands, apart from in the "Look at" and "See stats of" boxes in the toolbar?

What am I doing wrong!?

I'm assuming you understand that a different login is required for the ISRP chat than for the boards. If not here would be a great place to start. Otherwise when you get to the pretty blue swirly screen what can you see? Another login box? I still have to login twice for some reason, they techies are trying to fix that. Can you see the rooms list, with people in them or is the whole screen just blue? Logically, when the console loads correctly the rooms list and entry box appear on the screen. Obviously you may be missing those bits.

Really I'm not an expert, throwing around ideas actually. If ya had flash disabled something spooky might happen too! Alternatively you can report bugs here. Sorry I'm not much help!

I can see the rooms list (Lounge, Crossroads Tavern, Meeting Place, Great Bazaar, The Rotunda) at that top of the screen and I can click on them, but the main window is always blue. Underneath that there is the look at and see stats toolbar.

The ISRP rooms default color is Blue.. so the color isn't something to worry over

Okay.. on the right hand side of the screen can you see a list with the rooms also, that has your name on it? It may also have other names in it, depending if other folks are around or not.

Now at the bottom of the screen beneath the swirly blue there shouldbe a smaller box for text input..

The white boxes, where it says Input Screen and the like, I added... Do you have a screen like this or no?

Hmmmm. Is it blue with a pattern or just plain blue? Please note due to a known but as yet unresolved bug you'll have to log in twice.

You'll also need to make sure you have a browser that uses Macromedia Flash, you can download the latest version of said plugin here.

Actually, you don't have to log in twice. As long as you put *something* in the first box and hit the high-res login, it works - it doesn't need to be an actual screen name, or even have an accompanying password... so just type whatever in the screen name box from the ISRP boards and it'll work.

Or, alternitively, you could use the direct url to open flashchat.

That way you bypass the first login alltogether.
