Help Me Remember The Name Of A Movie

There was this movie I watched a long time ago,that I want to watch again, but can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

Ist was about these time travelers that go from catastrophic event to catastrophic event, treating them like tourist destinations. I think the early scene with them has something to do with a train wreck. Eventually the time travelers get found out, and the natives of the time stream plead for the time travelers help to try to help with setting things right.

At first I thought it sounded like an episode of Sliders or Quantum Leap, but it has to be Timescape with Jeff Daniels. Actually, it might be Time Shifters too.

EDIT: Actually, looking over the plot summary for The Time Shifters, that is the movie I am remembering. Still, it came pretty close to me thinking of the other movie because I thought it had something to do with an inn too. The subway incident is what clinched it.
