Currently, I am a part of a near epic-level party (with epic level power), that consists of: an ECL 22 Were-Cheetah Monk, an ECL 22 Werecheetah Psion/Psionic Warrior, a level 18 Paladin/Saint with several exalted feats, a ECL 18 Exalted Elf Drow Wizard, and me, a level 19 Ranger/Stalker of Kharesh. In the next session, we are to go into a straight up free for all to see who's the best at what.
Did I mention that it's to be entirely without items?
My character has about +30 in his hide/move silently skills, but that may not aid him in some of the situations that he'd be in. The group starts out in a 100'x100'x100' room, and the best strategy I've come up with is to cover the ceiling and floor with Spike Growth, use Plant Growth to cover the floor with spikey jungle (so he can hide), then cast Tree Form and hope nobody fireballs him.
Any suggestions for how to survive this? The first two rounds, the wizard is likely going to be casting Improved Invis. and Fly, while the monk will run around and hit people, and the Psion is up in the air.
Also, how would a pair of 8th level characters last more than a single round in this situation (Human Unfettered and Human Totem Warrior (wolf))?
