Help me think of this Dungeon Adventure?

There's also an outpost type of adventure in Dungeon 31 or 33 which involves a Red Slaad getting free and impregnating NPCs with little slaadlings (does the word "chest burster" mean something to you?), but that's at a much higher level (don't think I'm not thinking about that adventure farther along down the line.)
That one is "Jacob's Well" in Dungeon #43... and was a helluva lot of fun. It wasn't originally for that high of level - being for one character of levels 2-4!

(Incidentally, I updated that one to 3e, changing the baby red slaad to a blue slaad because of 3e's new slaad lifecycle details. Still pretty much works out the same, though, as regardless of the baby being red or blue, what was once for 1 character of 2nd level becomes an adventure for an entire party of 3rd level characters!)

The third "Alien"-like adventure is called "The Dark Place" in Dungeon #49. This one had a ruined village and an assassin-like Yugoloth... this one was also terribly fun.

I ran that one too! That was good as well. Definitely freaky throughout - including the creature itself.

I think I ran a few of these of modules as a short solo campaign in a snow/artic area. I remember another module with some kind of snow elemental/spirit in a small town.

Man - these sound awesome. Does anybody know if they have a CD of all the old Dungeon Magazines? I'd pay handsomely for that, sounds like a great tool.

That could either be the one where the Wendigo was first introduced, or the one with a Side Trek where soem sort of freezing fog is inhabiting a cellar. Need to look up details...

The Windigo (yes, it was spells windigo) module was in issue #77. The module was called Wind Chill.

the one with a Side Trek where soem sort of freezing fog is inhabiting a cellar.

Eyes of the Iceborn from issue #54. The creature was a fogwarden. I ran this module as a solo adventure along with The Ulrich Monastery, Jacob's Well, and Through the Night. I took a few short modules that were set in a snowy locale and ran them back-to-back. It worked out really well and overall, they flowed together very well since they all had a somewhat dark feel to them. They make a great mini campaign.

there are a whole bunch of old threads here, on the wotc site, and over at paizopublishing discussing this. basically, they won't do it b/c of the troubles caused by the Dragon 250 CD release.
