I don't HAVE to "admit" anything! What's to "admit"?

I game, I eat, and I use a PC. I don't go around telling people about any of the three, unless they ask me about it. I knew one guy who was always asking me about PCs, so we always talked computers, any time I saw him... With the one firend that games, D&D always comes up, after the wife & kids, and his business. Even though MOST people eat, I don't usually discuss food, nor my eating habits, with any of them...

I don't "admit" to gaming any more than I "admit" to eating or computing. If someone is interested enough to ask, and cares to discuss it, we can converse about it. If not, we will generally discuss something else of mutual interest.

Freefrost - I guess my account isn't reactivated yet from pre-crash. (I can't send you a PM for some reason). Anyhow, if you are referring to my website, it's pretty much something I wrote myself with my very limited PHP skills, and then I use PHPBB for messageboards.

I haven't updated it in forever, but yes, it's a tribute to my geekdom as well. Everyone driving by my garage in the neighborhood knows I am a gamer :)

Nope. I work in a very conservative industry. Amongst my friends (who are almost universally all gamers) we talk about it though. Heck, I don't even mention it to my brothers. Strange, I had no problem discussing it with the Vice Principal at the Catholic High School I went to, but it's just not something that comes up much.

Do you admit that you game to non-gamers? Why or why not? To what extent?

Yes. Heck, I don't even know whether most people I encounter are "gamers" or "non-gamers", so I would seldom know to whom to lie.

Why not? I have no reason to lie about it.

To an unlimited extent.
