Help : new to PF and must be GM

A world map is probably best drawn on paper (be prepared to draw a handful of 'drafts/sketches' before you finalize one or make it on a computer and print it).

I just can't recommend a 'great map of the world' on an erasable surface.

And great maps of the world aren't that big a priority, really. Just big enough to handle your immediate plans ... ideas are going to come later that you'd have wished you'd left room for. If you're going for something really big, you should leave most of it general, meaning you can draw that map on a small piece of paper and create focused maps to areas as you develop them. Then is the time for that great world map!

A map is best done on the computer and printed out in a reasonable size. You will not need it for battle encounters.
