Help on creating a "Cyberman" inspired PrC

First Post
Hi all,

I've had an idea running through my head of creating a prestige class inspired by the Cybermen of doctor who, or to a lesser degree the Borg from Star Trek.

I'm trying to come up with a PrC that is based on replacing your own flesh and blood body parts with grafts and construct parts. I am thinking a 10 level PrC, with the culmination being that the character becomes a Living Construct like a Warforged. As the levels progress, the character gains more and more construct immunities, boosts to physical stats, penalties to mental stats etc.

The main stumbling block I can see is the cost and expertise required to perform the modifications would probably mean the character would need to seek out "mad alchemist" types to progress.

Any thoughts?

Here's the loose framework I have so far...

Self Forged PrC

Requirements -

Alignment: Must be at least partially neutral

BAB: 6

Skills: Concentration 5 ranks

Feats: Diehard, Great Fortitude

Magic of Eberron has the renegade mastermaker.

A renegade mastermaker applies the secrets of warforged consturcution to his own body, slowly replacing parts of his body wis mechanical augmentations.

D20 Cyberscape also has the Cyberwarrior, which has his cybernetics grow and replace the old body.

Now that sounds exactly like what I am looking for - thanks. :D
