Help pick magic items for a 23rd level Monk!

I'm making up an Epic level Monk for a campaign and looking for any help I can get on equiping him with the best stuff I can. Not many boundaries here. Anything printed by WOTC in a 3.5 book or in Dragon/Dungeon is allowable. No 3rd party stuff. Any suggestions?
P.S. The character is a Githzerai in case it matters or anyone wonders. (Yes I am aware of the +2 level adjustment. He's actually filling a 23rd level spot in the party, so it's appropriate.)

Pretty big difference.

I guess my suggestion to you would be to get Magic Item Compendium and burn some midnight oil. Equipping epic characters is one of the longest, most tedious parts of epic character generation.

How much gold do you have to spend?

200k - Belt of Magnificence (Mini's HB): +6 to all stats
30k - Sparring Dummy of the Master (Arms & Equipment): 5ft steps become 10ft steps.
???k - Tome of... (DMG): +4 or +5 to relevant stats.
56k - Retributive Amulet (BoED/Dragon): +2 sacred bonus to AC, attacker takes half of the melee damage (rounded up) that he deals you.

The only time I ran an epic level game, a player took that retributive amulet. Most annoying magic item I've ever seen. =)

You should definitely take it.

Also, grab some bracers of armor and throw some armor properties on them, like 100% fortification. Check out DMG2 for some wicked special properties.

Okay, I've got 1,500,000 GP to spend. Making this thing up from whole cloth so I get to spend the whole kit and kaboodle. That Belt of Magnificence is obscene! I love it!
