Hey, guys can we chill out?

I've seen at least three threads in the last couple of weeks that have degenerated to this ridiculous name-calling.

I think the originator of this thread had a valid question. Let's keep it civil.

But were the same people involved? ;)

I know my posting has been fairly light the last few weeks and I don't remember any insult fests in the threads I did post in.

Paranoid much? It may well be a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Let me change your emphasis:

I don't use it though since no one in the party uses this particular combat style and I have only to date thrown one rogue at them that did specialize in it."

Thus implying that if either someone in the party used that combat style, or if you used more rogues, you would use it.

Yep I would use the rule if I started throwing large numbers of bluffing rogues at them. Basically because a rogue dedicated to this would always win. No character is ever going to have a sense motive high enough to have much chance against a bluff focused rogue.

I will though alter what I said since I said it badly. If a player was using this alot I would not nerf the rule on him. I was thinking of it more as a DM limitation on an power. Instead I have just kept from using this much on them (1 foe in 7 months or so of gaming).

You know, I've been a LOT more impressed. You guys know the rules, and they aren't hard to follow.
