Help price an item?

What cost would you give to an item (uses a slot) that...

a) Grants the "Blind Fighting" feat

or

b) Grants Blindsight, continuous use

Any thoughts?

Blindsight is a 3rd level Wiz spell, or 4th Cleric, which I would say would be VASTLY superior to the Blindfight feat.

As to how to price it... I have no idea.

Let me turn on the Pimp Signal...

I can't find Blindsight in the SRD, but taking it as 3rd level:

level 3 spell * caster level 5 * continuous use (2000) = 30,000 gp.

I'd say about 3,000gp, but no higher than 4,000gp.

Blindsight, well, that depends on what kind of Blindsight you want. Do you want the Blindsight to be based upon sound, smell, sensitivity to vibration, all of the above? If it's all of the above, it would be more expensive.

Blindsight granted by the spell from Magic of Faerun would cost, as Fade said, 30,000gp. Blindsight as the ability from the DMG, I'd price that at about 140,000gp, just to be on the safe side.
