help with ad banner

I've been trying to put together an ad banner for our DarkLore product, but don't know how to do it. I've put together an animation in Powerpoint, but don't seem to havethe facility to save it as an animated gif. Can I do it? do I need loads of specialist software?

Don't know about Power Point (although my girlfriend does... I'll ask her about it), but I doubt that this is possible.

Generally I'd do the individual pics first, and then use a GIF animator (there are a bunch of free ones available). If you need any help, feel free to ask (I rather like making banners - but I'd need some pics to start from).

Oh, and some of my own banners can be seen here (both animated and not).

Powerpoint doesn't support exporting or saving the entire project into a single animated gif. Best you can do is batch save all the slides to gif format, then construct it from the individual slides in some other program.
