Help with char.

I know I'm in the wrong place ,but could anyone help me with a swift hunter with a Bastard sword? I was trying to dual wield the sword and unarmed strike so I could decide whether I wanted more damage or more attacks, but I'm not sure if that would work. I was also thinking of using the alternate aragorn ranger on this site but I would like to have at least a few spells and an animal companion. I'm not restricing myself however, so all suggestions are appreciated.

p.s. I am also thinking about forest reeve and/or combat trapsmith as prestige classes.

I'm not entirely sure what you are referring to with the "alternate Aragorn ranger on this site."

Some kind of two weapon fighting ranger variant, I suppose.

Though I'm guessing that you're already using that since you are referring to your scout/ranger as a swift hunter already.
